Lily Pads

On a stroll last night and found these large lily pads resting in the sunset light on the pond along the Bittern Marsh Trail at LLELA. Wouldn't it have been great to catch a big fat bullfrog sitting there? Not to be this night but it'll give me a reason to go back.

We were honored to hear the music of Erica Wheeler (www.ericawheeler.com), conservation advocate and musician. It was a beautiful day in North Texas and many people enjoyed being outside and participating in bird walks, butterfly walks, guided hikes, conservation and educational opportunities and many more activities celebrating nature and the value of preservation of resources.
